This building for Marcade was a complete design and build for all wired services of a 148 bed accommodation block at Whittington Barracks near Litchfield. This extensive project provided an opportunity to work on a demanding modular programme using off-site construction processes and on-site installation. We had a group of 16 directly employed electricians working on this project at any one time. We faced particular challenges with the site-wide interconnections which we successfully co-ordinated with the incumbent contractors. This project was completed on time with a delighted client and presents an excellent example of collaborative working with a modular contractor in a high security environment.
